Quotes from George Washington on the danger of government & resulting need for Arms in the hands of the People:

·        Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.”

·        “The marvel of all history is the patience with which men and women submit to burdens unnecessarily laid upon them by their governments.”

·        “Experience teaches us that it is much easier to prevent an enemy from posting themselves than it is to dislodge them after they have got possession.”

·          “The very atmosphere of firearms anywhere and everywhere restrains evil interference - they deserve a place of honor with all that's good.”

·        “Firearms are second only to the Constitution in importance; they are the peoples' liberty's teeth.”

Washington warns us of tyranny from our own government and all governments for that matter. He acknowledges how patient the people are with tyranny but warns us of how much more difficult it is to win back your rights and possessions after they have been surrendered. Since, Washington tells us that firearms restrain evil interference everywhere, why would we now surrender them to a government that has taken all its wealth and given it to global bankers? Why give the tyrants the last thing we have, our means to prevent them from taking our lives and liberties?
